Making People’s Lives Less Taxing

Thanks for visiting my page!

My name is Stephanie Fletcher.  I live in the beautiful and growing town of Ozark, MO with my husband, John, our six children, (Bailey, Jacob, Jesse, Brennan, Braden and Brianna) and our two dogs, (Max and Sophia).  My family attends Ozark Highlands Church, where I am honored to serve as the Treasurer.

Why tell you this before mentioning any real professional qualifications?  Because I want you to know who you’re dealing with.  I value my family and my faith above all else.  These areas of my life determine how I run my business, my ethics and my character.  I do this for my family – so that hard work is modeled for my children and I can literally bring home the bacon.  🙂 As for my faith – I do everything for the Glory of God.  (1 Corinthians 10:31)  Do I mess up sometimes?  Sure, I’m not perfect, by any means – but God’s grace is enough to cover that!  Until Jesus returns, I’m supposed to work hard at everything I do and give Him the glory – and I hope that’s what you see me doing!

Now – on to what probably brought you here.  What can I do for you?  Although I save my real super hero powers for my personal life (note the number of kids, again), I can read financial statements, balance the books, analyze data and plan for tax season with the best of them!  Professionally speaking, I’m one part CPA, one part bean counter, one part puzzle solver, one part entrepreneur, one part teacher, one part servant and probably at least two parts nerd.  (Too many parts?)

How do I put all those parts to work for you?  My goal is to help you feel less stressed about your finances.  How many of the things below do you wish you had professional advice for?

Preparing this year’s tax return.

Getting a new business started.

Creating a personal budget and plan to pay off debt.

Learning more about online banking, bill pay, etc.

Preparing a tax return from two years ago (oops.)

Going through an audit from the IRS or the State Department of Revenue. (Ugh!)

Figuring out how to best handle the accounting for your small business.

Paying the employees of your small business.

I can help you with all of these things – and more.  Plus, you won’t have to break the bank to get my help.  I am the most reasonably priced CPA in this area!  Why?  Because as a mentor of mine once said, “We’re not out to commit highway robbery!”  I promise to provide you high quality service at a rate you can afford.  I will even work with you to find ways to save you money on your next visit with me!  This helps me sleep at night…and it will you, too!

Now –  my “real” credentials, in short:

I am a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri.  I received my MBA in Finance from Missouri State University in 2005.  I received my Bachelor’s in Accounting (and a good dose of character building and work ethic) from College of the Ozarks in 2004.

I’ve worked professionally since 2005 as a private accountant in the manufacturing industry.  I’ve gained a lot of business knowledge and analytical skills from those positions, which ranged from Cost Analyst to Controller.  I’ve worked for Reckitt Benckiser, Jarden Plastics and SRC Holdings Corporation.

In the fall of 2016, I decided to pursue my real passion in life – helping people.  I’ve been doing taxes for family, friends and families of friends since 2003 and got to see how much people worry about things like their taxes, and how I was able to bring relief just by working with them.  Now, I get the pleasure of doing it full time and expanding on that to provide other services that I never had the time for!

I hope to meet you and learn how I can be of service to you.  If I can’t help you, I’ll find someone that can, at no cost to you!  Just ask…I probably know a guy. 🙂

Thanks for taking time to read this – God Bless!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Fletcher, CPA
